André Davis
Executive Director and CEO
André R. Davis was appointed Executive Director and CEO of the BPA in March 2022 after retiring from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he last served as the Director of Parking & Transportation. While at UAB, among many new programs, he was instrumental in leading the University’s first Comprehensive Parking & Transportation Master Plan Development, new zone-based student parking system, and the rollout of the Blazer Express campus bus shuttle system. During his tenure at the BPA, Davis has led the Authority in the development of its first comprehensive Strategic Parking Plan. He is recognized as a leader who can take organizations that were once falling below expectations into becoming profitable and positive assets.
Davis is a graduate of Oakwood University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Public Administration, respectively.
